Thanksgiving Weekly Wrap Up

Because of the the 4 day weekend, this was a HUGE volume week for me.  Next week will be mostly focused on my CQE exam, so I probably won’t be getting anywhere near this kind of mileage.  It was fun while it lasted.

Memorable moments included getting to hike with my pup solo up South Mount Uncanoonuc, and having to set up my Christmas tree immediately after coming in from my very cold hands long run.  At least the kids were happy.

  • 3.1 mi running race – Fishercats Thanksgiving 5k – 34:34.2 (with running stroller for 2.2 mi)
    • 0.5 mi + walk pre and post race

Friday Nov 24th, 2017

  • 15 minutes Weight Lifting – Bench press, deadlift, back extensions, knee raises
  • 1.38 mi Treadmill run 10:54/mi
  • 45 minute TRX Class
  • 2.1 mi Hike South Mont Uncanoonuc
  • 6,528m row 2:18.0/500m

Saturday Nov 25th, 2017

  • 1.1 mi run – 14:28/mi – waiting for my MIL to show up at Y with kids
  • 20 minutes strength training – Squat, clean, deadlift
  • 1.3 mi hike with kids
  • 12,735m row 2:22.1/500m

Sunday Nov 26th, 2017

  • 1 mi swim
  • 6.4 mi on expresso bike
  • 1.8mi Treadmill 10:57/mi – to make sure I didn’t break #rwrunstreak if the day away from me
  • 7.5mi Long Run (and up a big hill) – 12:58/mi (I may have been dying for gloves half the run too)
